The best way to learn is when you have to teach. This is what in fact teachers eventually discover at the Istituto Zurbaran. These are young people, full of enthusiasm but still pretty insecure and immature but above all far from resolving their existential dilemmas. They are left with the hard task of guiding students not only along the path to greater knowledge, but also the on-going discovery of their own place and role in this world. This series is aimed at a more youthful audience. The innovative element concerns seeing two points of view: through the teachers’ eyes we can re-live the fears, doubts and embarassments of those embarking on a new adventure, crossing that thin line that separates someone young from being an adult; then through student eyes we can delve into a universe of conflicts, loves, delusions, let-downs and the typical hopes of adolescents. This was broadcast on Antena 3 from February 2008, in Spagna “Física o química” immediately attained cult status. The Italian version was curated by Publispei and debuted on 4 September 2010 on Rai4.
